Watching this on replay (sorry I couldn't catch it live), but one thing I do is write postcards to friends and family from every place I travel. I do it partly for me - because I want to share with the people I love - but you'd be surprised at how excited people get about receiving my postcards, and wait for them and display them at home. I've even had people watching me write them in cafes wistfully say they would like to get postcards. It's about as far from digital as you can get (my friends and family are also seeing my photos on social media in real time) but it's a nice old-fashioned way to connect for all of us.
Very interesting! I'm at the tail end of the Boomers but I think we see things the same way. I love a lot of new technology but still think we need to hold on to our physical media! You never know when sites like Spotify or Netflix will eliminate something. I love the idea that some Gen Z'ers want DVDs. I'll have people to give them to when I'm ready to let them go! Anyway, great discussion!
Thanks guys—that was fun! A bientôt 😊

Love this! Agreed, there’s something so special about sending and receiving postcards.

Thanks so much for watching, Dan. We love us some Boomers.
